So we’re obviously a long way from fall, now, but I just got this roll of Kodak Portra 400 developed, and on it were a few dozen photos from a weekend of autumn cider pressing on the Olympic Peninsula. We spent the day gathering apples from around the town of Sequim and then hand-pressing the juice into several dozen random jugs and bottles. Throughout the cider process, between several rain showers and frog-catching attempts, I was able to snap a few photos with my film SLR. The Portra 400 turned out well, and it seemed to do particularly well with greens and reds – perfect for fall colors in the Pacific Northwest. Head to Flickr for more photos from this roll.
