washington wednesday: korean war memorial

The Korean War Memorial is my favorite memorial/monument in Washington DC. This might be because it’s the war my grandpa was serving in the military during, or it might be because there are so many sculptures that you can’t help but remember those who serve and the dangers they face. The sun was setting when we made our way out to this memorial, and while the harsh light may not be ideal – I think it looks great processed in black and white.
