Pike Place Market
A few weeks ago, my wife and I got to play “tourist” with some friends of ours who were visiting us in Seattle. We skipped the underground portion of the market and focused on flowers, produce, pastries, and seafood. We made sure to give our friends the complete Pike Place package, including delicious treats from Piroshky, Piroshky and a sockeye salmon five-yard pass at the fish market.
I’m still loving the Fujifilm X100s – it’s the perfect camera for a location like Pike Place, with its tight spaces and rapid activity. The last time I processed photos from Pike Place, I went with a black and white VSCO filter. This time around, I tried out a more saturated VSCO Film to feature the broad spectrum of colors on display at the market. Enjoy the photos, and happy unMonday!
