unMonday: winter photo adventure

It’s been a bit chilly out for photo adventures, but this weekend I decided it was time to brave the cold and capture some of the snow-covered landscape. Here’s what I found along the Gallatin River. My fingers were painfully cold after taking these, but it’s a good memory. The crisp air leaves the image with a cold, defined detail that doesn’t come across in summer heat.

  • Canon 5D MarkIII
  • Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L lens
  • Lightroom 5 & VSCO Film

The temperature may be 3 degrees, but you can still wash your car!
