unMonday: seattle fall sunset

Seattle’s Golden Gardens is not quite a real beach, but the sunsets viewed from here are some of the best I’ve ever seen.  This last week, though, I headed out to the water to focus on the fall colors.  The lighting was perfect and the sunset ignited the fall leaves.  The beauty of the Pacific Northwest never gets old.

This Thursday, Travel: Europe features photos from Rome.

These photos were processed with VSCO Film Fuji Astia 100F.

  1. Wow these are really nice. I am also from the Northwest, in Vancouver, so we have similar scenery here, but I don’t usually think of the Northwest in these types of colours. I always picture blue and greens, but these are really nice ways of reflecting the oranges as well. Who says we don’t have sunshine, right? :) Thanks for sharing!

    • Hey, thanks! Yeah, to be honest, I was blown away by the colors when I came out to take these photos…it was way more intense than I expected. The weather this fall has been amazing…I would imagine it’s been about the same for you guys up in Vancouver. Thanks for checking out the blog!

  2. It’s getting way colder now! I wouldn’t be surprised if we can expect snow soon!
