unMonday: another roll of neopan

Several weeks ago, I developed another roll of Fujifilm Neopan 400.  As I said in a previous post, this film is really making a case for becoming my new favorite – I love the sublte grain and the balanced contrast that seems to do particularly well in evening light, dark rooms, and Seattle’s overcast weather.  I really tried to take my time with this roll in choosing my shots before depressing the shutter, and I was pretty happy with the results that I got back from the photo lab.  I waited a few weeks – to let the images “marinate” and allow my initial feelings to settle – before deciding which images to post.  But even after waiting, a lot of my first impressions still stand.  Which means that this is going to be kind of a long post…
