Messing around with different edits in Lightroom 4, using photos from a walk I took with my wife around Seattle’s Green Lake. I’ve created some custom filters – using instructions from the Jared Platt seminar I saw in CreativeLive – and they definitely help speed up post-processing. But I’m still learning when it’s appropriate to apply creative filters and when I need to be reserved with my edits. With my own photographs, the boundary between tasteful processing and over-editing is difficult to see and very easy to cross.
